The Baus trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Okay, first of all, I had to show off Declan and Joseph's amazing feats of strength. They can both hold that post for 30 seconds or more :)

Also, besides the pumpkin patch, Declan got a bike this week. It doesn't have any pedals, and he sort of just walks with it, but it's a great toy and we've had a lot of fun.

I can't get any pictures of him looking at me because our neighbors have such cool Halloween decorations, and he would rather look at the witches, pumpkins, and ghosts (anyone know what a pumpkin says by the way? Dec would like to know).

This weekend we got out to the pumpkin patch. Here are Joe and D-man #3 enjoying a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Pickle had a good time playing in all of the pumpkin's too. He is making a very picklish face here :)

Dec and Joe had fun petting the donkey owned by the farmer.

Finally, we got out to the pumpkin patch.

Which one is a pickle, not a pumpkin?

Joe is showing the boys around.

How do you get the seeds out?

I hope everyone is having a great fall! We are going to visit my grandma tomorrow, and I'll have some more pictures later this week.

What we've been up to August and September

Well, I sort of forgot to post for a couple of months, but we were still out and about and very busy. I wanted to share some pictures of everything we've been doing.
First of all, I can't lie, we spend our share of time hanging out at the house.

(oops...Joe was moving in that picture.)

Playing with toys:
And playing with things that are not toys at all :)

Here is Pickle going through the diaper bag to see what might be tasty to eat :) He's found, and opened, the puffs.

And Dr. Currel gave us a very cool train set that his son used to play with when he was a kid. Declan loves it.
Here is Joe getting it out of the box:

And here they are playing with it together!

Speaking of trains, we all went to see Thomas the Tank Engine.

And we got to ride Thomas too!

Pickle was a little tired when we got home.

We also went to the zoo, more than once.

And Daniela took the boys to an indoor playground. Declan had a great time bouncing on a trampoline.

I hope that everyone is having a great fall!

our weekend with Grandpa

We had so much fun with dad visiting this weekend. I wanted to share a few pictures of what we did together.
First, Dad and Declan put on some "monkey music," and danced. They were even wearing the same outfits :)

During nap, dad mowed the lawn for us. (awesome. thanks dad). Afterward, we went to the playground. I didn't get such great pictures, but you can sort of see Pickle standing on the other side of dad, and, of course, Dec was all over the place.

Here is dad taking a little break after giving Declan hup hups around the house. Declan is showing off his boo boo that he got last week. He had his Papa kiss it several times. Mommy kissed it too.

This morning, we had some breakfast.

And played around in the playroom a little more.

It was a lot of fun having dad/papa down this weekend. The boys are exhausted right now (and I am wondering if dad is too :)).

Pickle's first haircut

Hey! Sorry it's been so long since I posted. Diz sent me an email the other day reminding me to get back on. I have some really cute pics from all of the stuff we've been doing the last couple of months, and I will get them up soon.
Today though, I wanted to show little Pickle getting his first haircut! He was such a good boy and stayed calm through the whole thing.
Here they are in the morning, desperately needing a haircut :)

Declan got his haircut first.

Pickle looked on a little apprehensively.

Here he is! Pickle is getting his first haircut, and doesn't he look excited?

Here is as close to the final product as we got. There were a couple of tears at the end, so I had to stop taking pictures.

The rest of the afternoon went smoothly, and they look so cute. I will get some more pictures of them with their new haircuts this weekend when Dad (aka Papa) comes to visit.
